According to ENR (Engineering News Record) tables, Astaldi is the 18th contractor in the world in the water supply sector and holds the 4th position as regards waterworks.
Astaldi employs over 11,000 people world wide in 100+ active projects, constructing large and technologically complex infrastructures.
The Muskrat Falls Project is expected to take 4 years, and an estimated 500,000 cubic meters of concrete and 26,000 metric tones of reinforcing steel is expected to be used.
In 2012 the Astaldi acquired the Canadian company T.E.Q., a specialist in the civil works and project management sector with yearly revenues of about 50 million CAD.
